Be the Light is Tidy KC's monthly free clean for someone walking through a hard season: a struggling family, an overwhelmed caregiver, an elderly neighbor, or a household that could use real help but can't afford a one-time clean.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Who it's for
Help for people who need relief, not another bill.
This isn't a giveaway for the tidiest house or the best-written story. It's a practical act of care for someone whose home has gotten heavy because life has gotten heavy.
- A family carrying financial strain, grief, illness, or a major life change.
- An older adult or disabled neighbor who needs practical help at home.
- A caregiver, single parent, or overwhelmed household that needs a reset.
- Someone who'd be deeply helped by a clean home but can't pay for it right now.
The free clean is meant for someone who couldn't otherwise afford a one-time clean.
Nominations are private. Tidy KC will only share a story or photo with clear permission.
Safety, access, scope, and timing still have to be a fit for the team.
